Ingredients

  • 1 cup margarine
  • 1 3/4 cups sugar
  • 6 - eggs
  • 3 cups flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons almond extract

How To Make pound cake

  • Step 1
    Beat butter til light. Slowly add sugar alternating with eggs. Fold in flour, salt, baking soda alternating with sour cream and almond extract. Grease and flour 2 loaf pans. bake at 325 for 1 hour or until tooth pick comes out clean.
