1Melt butter in a large iron skillet.
Cover bottom with brown sugar, add pineapple to cover bottom.
Add cherries in each center.
Sift together flour and baking powder.
Beat eggs, and add sugar to blend.
Add flour mixture alternately with milk, add vanilla.
2Pour into skillet.
Bake 45-60 minutes at 350 degrees.
Immediately invert on to a large plate.
Great served with whipped cream.
