This recipe is famous around my house. It is a big request. I never get tired of making it.This recipe is a classic dump cake. Just add everything into a bowl and mix. Very simple and delicious!

Ingredients

  • 1 box white cake mix
  • 2 packages instant pistacchio pudding
  • 4 - eggs
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup club soda
  • 1 teaspoon almond extract
  • 1 jar maraschino cherries (chopped)
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1 1/2 cups confectioners' sugar
  • 2-3 tablespoons cherry juice

How To Make pistacchio cake

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour a 10 inch bundt cake pan and set aside.
  • Step 2
    Add all of ingredients into bowl except the glaze ingredients. Mix very well until there are no lumps in the batter.Pour into prepared pan and bake in the center of the oven for 50 to 60 minutes or when toothpick is inserted to the center of the cake comes out clean.
  • Step 3
    Let cake cool on wire rack for 10 minutes. Invert cake onto wire rack and let cool completely.
  • Step 4
    For the Glaze: Mix confectioner's sugar and cherry juice 1 tbsp. at a time to ensure a nice thick glaze. Drizzle over cooled cake.
