Ingredients
- 1 white cake mix
- 1 (3.5 ounces) cherry jello
- 3/4 cup oil
- 3/4 cup buttermilk
- 3 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- FROSTING
- 1 (8 ounces) can crushed pineapple
- 1 (3.4) ounces) instant vanilla pudding
- 1 (16 ounces) cool whip, thawed
- 1 jar (8 ounces) maraschino cherries, halved, juices reserved
How To Make pink flamingo cake

Step 1In a large bowl, beat cherry jello mix, oil, buttermilk, eggs and vanilla into white cake mix until just combined, then pour into a greased 9 X 13 inch baking dish.

Step 2Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool.

Step 3Place crushed pineapple, with juices, and halved cherries in a large bowl and combined. and sprinkle pudding mix on top,

Step 4Fold in cool whip and 1/4 cup cherry juice until smooth and combined.

Step 5Frost cooled cake and refrigerate for 2 to 3 hours , covered, until set.

Step 6Can be made 2 to 3 days ahead
