Ingredients For pink flamingo cake

    white cake mix
  • 1
    (3.5 ounces) cherry jello
  • 3/4 c
    oil
  • 3/4 c
    buttermilk
  • 3
    large eggs
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla
  • FROSTING
  • 1
    (8 ounces) can crushed pineapple
  • 1
    (3.4) ounces) instant vanilla pudding
  • 1
    (16 ounces) cool whip, thawed
  • 1 jar
    (8 ounces) maraschino cherries, halved, juices reserved

How To Make pink flamingo cake

    In a large bowl, beat cherry jello mix, oil, buttermilk, eggs and vanilla into white cake mix until just combined, then pour into a greased 9 X 13 inch baking dish.

    Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool.

    Place crushed pineapple, with juices, and halved cherries in a large bowl and combined. and sprinkle pudding mix on top,

    Fold in cool whip and 1/4 cup cherry juice until smooth and combined.

    Frost cooled cake and refrigerate for 2 to 3 hours , covered, until set.
