pink champagne cake
Heard this on NPR years ago. Although I am essentially a no box mix person I tried this and it was just lovely in taste and appearance. This is really a wonderful holiday cake!

Ingredients
- 1 box good quality white cake mix, such as duncan hines no pudding
- 1/2 cup to 3/4 cup champagne
- - food color to tint batter
- - butter cream frosting
- - food color to tint frosting
How To Make pink champagne cake

Step 1prepare cake mix to box directions, adding champagne ( could be dry, sweet, pink etc ) for the liquid

Step 2use food color to tint the batter

Step 3frost as desired with favorite butter cream using about 3 Tbs champagne for the liquid in the recipe
