Although it is great to make the cake the day before serving, if you place it in the fridge for 1 hour before icing it is still a fast and easy desert for guests.

20 oz can(s)can of crushed pineapple with juice

2 csugar

2 cflour

2 tspbaking soda

1 tspvanilla

1 ccrumbled walnuts

8 ozcream cheese

1/2 cbutter

1/2 boxpowdered sugar

How to Make Pineapple Walnut Cake
- heat oven to 350
- slightly beat eggs - add undrained pineapple, sugar, flour, baking soda, vanilla, and walnuts.
- pour into ungreased pan and bake for 25-30 minutes.
- This cake is very moist so do not remove from pan - place in refrigerator for at least an hour before frosting.
- Now make the frosting!
Mix together cream cheese, butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla. (you can add a little milk if consistency is not what you like) - This cake is best if made the day before serving!
