  • 1 - cheep yellow cake mix
  • 2 cans pineapple rings
  • - eggs
  • - dark rum
  • 1 stick butter
  • - brown sugar
  • 1 jar marachino cherries

How To Make pineapple upside down rum cake

  • Step 1
    melt butter in your biggest brownie pan or deep cookie sheet and pour in a cap full of rum then stir in brown sugar
  • Step 2
    drain pineapple rings into a separate container and arrange in sugar then place cherries inside rings
  • Step 3
    mix cake mix as directed using rum for the oil and pineapple juice for the water
  • Step 4
    pour over pineapple rings and bake as directed for 30 min
