- Heat oven to 350.Heat margarine in rectangular pan,13x9x2 inches,in oven until melted.Sprinkle with brown sugar.Spoon pineapple over brown sugar;spread evenly.
- Prepare cake mix as directed on box.Pour over pineapple
- Bake 35 to 40 minutes or until cake pulls away from sides of pan and springs back when touched lightly in the center.Cool 10 minutes.
- Invert onto heatproof serving platter;remove pan.Cool cake completely.Serve with sweetened whipped cream if desired.
