Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter (1 stick)
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 can crushed pineapple
- 1 cup flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 4 - eggs
- 1 tablespoon melted butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 cup sugar
How To Make pineapple upside down cake

Step 1Use a 9 or 10 inch cast iron skillet and melt a stick of butter. Add brown sugar and stir till dissolved. Add crushed pineapple (drained)

Step 2Sift flour & baking powder. Beat together the egg yolks and add melted butter, sugar & vanilla.

Step 3In a seperate bowl beat egg whites till stiff but not dry. Fold in the sugar 1 Tbls at a time, then add the yolk mixture and finally the flour 1 Tbls at a time.

Step 4Pour the batter over the pineapple mixture and bake for 1/2 hr at 325 degrees. When done, flip over on a plate immediately.
