Ingredients
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1 can 20-oz sliced pineapple
- 10 - pecan halves
- 1 jar 12-oz apricot preserves
- 1 package yellow cake mix
How To Make pineapple upside-down cake

Step 1Pour melted butter into a well greased 9x13 inch cake pan. drain pineapple reserving 1/4 of juice. Arrange pineapple slices in prepared pan; place a pecan half in the center of each pineapple. Combine apricot preserves with 1/4 cup of pineapple juice; spoon over pineapple slices. Prepare cake batter according to package directions; pour over cake.

Step 2Bake 350F for 40-50 minutes. Immediately invert onto a large serving platter.
