Ingredients

  • 8 large
    eggs
  • 2 c
    crisco shortening
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 1 small
    8 oz. undrained can crushed pineapple
  • 3 c
    sugar
  • 3 c
    plain flour
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt

How to Make Pineapple Pound Cake

Step-by-Step

  1. Cream Crisco and sugar well.
    Add eggs, 1 at a time.
    Add dry ingredients.
    Stir in pineapple and flavor.
  2. Pour into a large greased and floured tube or bundt pan.
    Bake at 350* for 1 hr.20 min. Check for doneness after 1 hr.10 min. or when you smell it and its beginning to pull away from the sides of the pan.
