    all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1 1/2 tsp
  • 2
  • 1 can(s)
    crushed pinapple (large can)
  • 1/3 c
    brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1/2 c
    chopped pecans
  • 1 c
  • 1 stick
  • 5 oz
    evaporated milk (1/2 can)
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract

How to Make Pineapple Pecan Cake


  1. Heat oven to 350. Grease 9 x 13 pan. Mix 1 1/2 cups of sugar, flour, soda, salt, eggs, pineapple and 1 teaspoon of vanilla. Pour in pan, sprinkle with brown sugar and nuts. Bake at 350 for 45 mins
  2. Glaze
    In medium sauce pan combine 1 cup sugar, 1 stick butter, 1 teaspoon vanilla and evaporated milk. Bring to a boil and cook for 5 mins. With a fork punch holes in the baked cake. Pour hot glaze over the cake and enjoy!!!!
