Ingredients
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 - 20 oz. can crushed pineapple with juice
- 2 - eggs
- 1 cup chopped walnuts
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- FROSTING:
- 1 package 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup butter, softened
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 4 cups sifted 10xx sugar
How To Make pineapple nut cake

Step 1Combine all cake ingredients. Pour into prepared 9x13 pan Bake at 350 degrees until the center springs back when touched, at least 45 minutes. Let cool completely. Frost with cream cheese frosting or your favorite vanilla or buttercream frosting.

Step 2Frosting instructions: Beat the softened cream cheese and butter until light and fluffy. Add 10xx sugar 1 cup at a time. Beat until creamy. Frost cooled cake. I lightly sprinkle nuts on top to indicate that there are nuts in the cake.
