Ingredients
- 1 box (18-1/4 oz) yellow cake mix, prepared as directed, any size pan
- 1 can (20 oz) crushed pineapple
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon flour
How To Make pineapple frosted cake

Step 1after cake has cooled add the crushed pineapple (including the juice) sugar, cornstarch and flour in a saucepan.

Step 2heat over low medium heat until thickened. stir frequently to keep the sugar from burning. when thickened remove from heat and allow to cool slightly. frost the cake.
