Ingredients
- Cake - ingredients:
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 - eggs
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Pinch of - salt
- 1 (20 oz.) - can of crushed pineapple in 100% pineapple juice
- 1/4 to 1/3 cup chopped walnuts
- Frosting - ingredients:
- 1 stick butter (8 tablespoons)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1-1/2 cup powdered sugar
How To Make pineapple cake with cream cheese frosting

Step 1Preheat oven to 350°F.

Step 2In a large bowl, add cake ingredients. Mix together well with a fork.

Step 3Pour cake batter in a greased 13" x 9" cake pan. Spread evenly in pan with a spoon.

Step 4Place pan in the oven, and bake for 35 to 40 minutes. Until top of cake appears a light golden brown in color.

Step 5Then insert with a toothpick to see if cake is done.

Step 6Allow cake to cool completely before spreading on the frosting and sprinkling with chopped walnuts.
