Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 - eggs
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 can (2 cups) crushed pineapple
  • TOPPING:
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 stick butter, cold
  • 1 cup evaporated milk

How To Make pineapple cake and topping

  • Step 1
    Mix all ingredients together, pour into a greased and floured 9x13 baking pan. Sprinkle on top 1/2 cup brown sugar and 1/2 cup chopped pecans. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes.
  • Step 2
    Topping: Mix together and boil; simmer 10 minutes. Pour over cake while hot.
