How to Make Pineapple cake
- Add cake mix to mixing bowl, add melted butter and eggs. Strain pineapple juice and then add pineapple to bowl. Add milk to juice to make a total of 1 cup liquid, add to mix.
Beat together with mixer for 2 mins.
- Spray a 13 X 9 pan with cooking spray, pour in cake batter and bake 350 for 35 mins.
When cooled completely, frost with fluffy frosting shown below.
- Fluffy Frosting: in small saucepan over medium heat, cook 1/2 cup milk and 2 1/2 Tablespoons of flour. Whisking constantly until thickened. Add 1 teaspoon vanilla. Set aside to cool completely.
In a medium bowl, with mixer beat 1 stick butter and 2/3 cup sugar for 3 minutes until light and fluffy. Add cooled mixture and beat for an additional minute. Frost the cooled pineapple cake.
