Ingredients

  • - 2 ½ cups flour
  • - 1 ½ cups sugar
  • - 4 tablespoons butter
  • - 2 eggs
  • - 1 cup milk
  • - ½ cup brown sugar
  • - ½ cup sour cream
  • - 1 tsp. vanilla
  • - 1 tsp. baking soda
  • - 1 tsp. baking powder
  • - ½ tsp. salt
  • - for the pineapples
  • - ingredients:
  • - 1 ½ cups fresh pineapple – cut up
  • - ½ cup brown sugar

How To Make pineapple cake

  • Step 1
    Preheat Oven 350 degrees: In a mix-master combine the butter and white sugar and mix until smooth. In a separate bowl combine the milk, eggs, vanilla, sour cream and ½ cup of brown sugar and beat with a fork. Add this to the mix- master and mix. In a separate bowl combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Slowly add this to the mix-master while on low. In a small bowl combine the pineapple and ½ cup of brown sugar and stir. Prepare a bunt pan with butter; (don’t forget to butter the middle piece of the pan) and place the prepared pineapple along the bottom. Pour the batter into the pan. Bake for 40-45 minutes or until the toothpick test comes out clean.
