I discovered this recipe several years ago and bake it most often in the spring and summer. I like to add toppings according to the holiday , such as sitting peep chicks or jelly beans on top of the whipped topping for Easter.

1 -16 ounce package angel food cake mix
1- 20 ounce can crushed pineapple, undrained
1- 12 ounce container whipped topping

How to Make pineapple cake


  • 1Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly spray a 13X9 inch pan.
  • 2Mix cake mix and undrained crushed pineapple in a bowl until well blended.
  • 3Pour batter into prepared pan and bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown on top. Let cake cool completely and frost top with the whipped cream topping.
