My co-workers always ask for this cake when we are having a pitch-in. I have even made it for some of them to take to their own family gatherings. They say "if I buy the ingredients, will you make the pineapple cake for me?". Really good!!

Ingredients

1/2 c
finely chopped pecans
1 small
box of vanilla instant pudding mix
1 pkg
yellow cake mix
1 c
pineapple juice
1/2 c
vegetable oil
4
eggs

SAUCE

1 c
granulated sugar
1 stick
butter, i use real butter for this
1/2 c
pineapple juice

How to Make Pineapple Bundt Cake

Step-by-Step

  • 1Grease a bundt pan well.
  • 2Sprinkle chopped pecans on bottom of pan
  • 3Mix together the pudding, cake mix, pineapple juice, oil, and eggs.
  • 4Beat with electric mixer for two minutes.
  • 5Pour over pecans in pan.
  • 6Bake at 325 degrees for 50-60 minutes
  • 7About 10 minutes before cake in done, make sauce.
  • 8Mix sugar, pineapple juice and butter in a small pan.
  • 9Heat until boiling and boil for two minutes.
  • 10Remove cake from oven when done.
  • 11DO NOT REMOVE CAKE FROM PAN
  • 12Pour sauce mixture over cake and let it set for 1/2 hour.
  • 13Put cake in refridgerator for one hour, them turn out onto serving plate.
