My co-workers always ask for this cake when we are having a pitch-in. I have even made it for some of them to take to their own family gatherings. They say "if I buy the ingredients, will you make the pineapple cake for me?". Really good!!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup finely chopped pecans
  • 1 small box of vanilla instant pudding mix
  • 1 package yellow cake mix
  • 1 cup pineapple juice
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 4 - eggs
  • SAUCE
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 stick butter, i use real butter for this
  • 1/2 cup pineapple juice

How To Make pineapple bundt cake

  • Step 1
    Grease a bundt pan well.
  • Step 2
    Sprinkle chopped pecans on bottom of pan
  • Step 3
    Mix together the pudding, cake mix, pineapple juice, oil, and eggs.
  • Step 4
    Beat with electric mixer for two minutes.
  • Step 5
    Pour over pecans in pan.
  • Step 6
    Bake at 325 degrees for 50-60 minutes
  • Step 7
    About 10 minutes before cake in done, make sauce.
  • Step 8
    Mix sugar, pineapple juice and butter in a small pan.
  • Step 9
    Heat until boiling and boil for two minutes.
  • Step 10
    Remove cake from oven when done.
  • Step 11
    DO NOT REMOVE CAKE FROM PAN
  • Step 12
    Pour sauce mixture over cake and let it set for 1/2 hour.
  • Step 13
    Put cake in refridgerator for one hour, them turn out onto serving plate.
