Ingredients

  • CAKE
  • 3 cups cake flour
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 cup chopped pecans (optional)
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 3 - eggs
  • 1 can (8 oz.) crushed pineapple
  • 2 cups mashed bananas
  • - commercial or homemade frosting of your preference. (i usually use vanilla or cream cheese)

How To Make pineapple banana cake

  • Step 1
    Combine all dry ingredients together in large mixing bowl. Add in eggs, oil and vanilla, and combine until all ingredients are moistened. Stir in pineapple, pecans and bananas.
  • Step 2
    Pour batter into a greased and floured 9 x 13 inch rectangular cake pan. Bake at 350 for 30-35 minutes. Cool.
  • Step 3
    Frost cake with desired frosting, cover and refrigerate.
