My best friend of 30 years..has it really been that long..gave me this recipe years ago.

- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 1 can pineapple, crushed with juice
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 can bacardi pinacolada mix / freezer section / thawed
- 1/2 cup coconut ,optional
- - cool whip or make your own

How To Make pinacolada cake

Step 1Bake cake according to directions on box. Let cool for 10 minutes.

Step 2While the cake is cooling mix together the pineapples,sweet milk, pinacolada mix.

Step 3After the cake has cooled cut into slices as if serving it, or you can poke holes in it with a spoon. Spoon the pineapples mixture all over the cake making sure you get it down between the slices.

Step 4Let chill 4 hours or overnight. Top with coolwhip.
