Ingredients

  • CAKE:
  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1 sm box vanilla instant pudding (3 1/2 oz.)
  • 1/2 cup butter, room temperature
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 - 11 0z. cans mandarin oranges, undrained
  • 1/2 cup orange juice, fresh or frozen
  • TOPPING:
  • 1 sm package vanilla instant pudding (3 1/2 oz.)
  • 1 - 20 oz. cans pineapple, crushed, undrained
  • 1/2 cup confectioners' sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
  • 1 cont. - cool whip, thawed

How To Make pig cake

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Step 2
    With electric mixer combine cake mix, 1 box of pudding, butter & vanilla. Beat in eggs, one at a time. Add mandarin oranges & juice & beat until blended. Pour into greased & floured 9? x 13? cake pan. Bake in preheated for 25 - 30 minutes or until cake tests done. Cool before frosting.
  • Step 3
    Mix 2nd box of pudding with pineapple & juice. Blend in confectioners’ sugar & vanilla extract. Fold Cool Whip into pudding mixture. Spread over cake. Keep refrigerated.
