Ingredients

  • CUPCAKES

  • 1 box
    white cake mix
  • 1 box
    lime jello
  • 3
    egg whites
  • 1/3 c
    canola oil
  • 1 1/4 c
    water
  • TOPPING

  • 8 oz
    vanilla or white chocolate chips melted
  • 1/2 c
    butter, softened
  • 4 c
    powdered sugar
  • 1/2 tsp
    kool-aid powder (watermelon cherry flavor)
  • 1 c
    cut watermelon pureed (about 4tbls pureed)
  • 3/4 c
    chocolate chips

How to Make Picnic Watermelon Cupcakes

Step-by-Step

  1. Mix all cupcake ingredients in bowl and beat for about 2min. Fill cupcake lined pans about 3/4 way full.
    Bake 350 for 15-18min. Cool.
  2. Melt white chips and spread on cupcakes.
    Frosting-cream butter and sugar add puree and koolaid flavoring and beat til fluffy about three minutes.
    Frost cupcakes.
  3. Sprinkle cupcakes with chocolate chips.
    Enjoy.
