Ingredients

  • CUPCAKES
  • 1 box white cake mix
  • 1 box lime jello
  • 3 - egg whites
  • 1/3 cup canola oil
  • 1 1/4 cups water
  • TOPPING
  • 8 ounces vanilla or white chocolate chips melted
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 4 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon kool-aid powder (watermelon cherry flavor)
  • 1 cup cut watermelon pureed (about 4tbls pureed)
  • 3/4 cup chocolate chips

How To Make picnic watermelon cupcakes

  • Step 1
    Mix all cupcake ingredients in bowl and beat for about 2min. Fill cupcake lined pans about 3/4 way full. Bake 350 for 15-18min. Cool.
  • Step 2
    Melt white chips and spread on cupcakes. Frosting-cream butter and sugar add puree and koolaid flavoring and beat til fluffy about three minutes. Frost cupcakes.
  • Step 3
    Sprinkle cupcakes with chocolate chips. Enjoy.
