2 cups sugar
3 - eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon nutmeg
1 cup buttermilk
1 cup persimmon pulp
1/2 cup oil
1 teaspoon salt
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup chopped nuts

How To Make persimmon cake

Step 1

Mix sugar, oil, eggs, & vanilla. Add flour, salt, spices, baking soda, buttermilk, & persimmon pulp.

Step 2

Beat well, then add nuts.
Step 3

Bake in 9"x13" pan for 1 hour.
Step 4

Buttercream icing goes best with this cake.
