Ingredients For persimmon cake

  • 2 c
    sugar
  • 3
    eggs
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla
  • 1 tsp
    nutmeg
  • 1 c
    buttermilk
  • 1 c
    persimmon pulp
  • 1/2 c
    oil
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 2 c
    flour
  • 1 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 1 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1 c
    chopped nuts

How To Make persimmon cake

  • 1
    Mix sugar, oil, eggs, & vanilla. Add flour, salt, spices, baking soda, buttermilk, & persimmon pulp.

    Beat well, then add nuts.

    Bake in 9"x13" pan for 1 hour.

    Buttercream icing goes best with this cake.
