How To Make perfect pumpkin bars
-
Step 1Heat oven to 350°.
-
Step 2Grease 15x10x1" baking pan.
-
Step 3In large bowl, combine all bar ingredients; beat at low speed until moistened. Beat 2 minutes at medium speed.
-
Step 4Pour into greased pan.
-
Step 5Bake at 350° for 25-30 minutesor until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
-
Step 6Cool completely.
-
Step 7In small bowl, combine all frosting ingredients; beat until smooth. Frost cooled bars. Cut into bars. Store in fridge.
-
Step 8Sprinkle the top lightly with some nutmeg , cloves & cinnamon mixed, for color. It won't take much, so don't over-do it.
-
Step 9Note: Sometimes I make these thicker like a cake, as above. May need 2 batches to accomplish this.
