This wonderful frosting goes really well on a chocolate cake. It is a bit on the caramel side but with brown sugar flavor. This was my sister Jackie's favorite frosting. She always wanted mom to make it for her.

- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 3/4 cup white sugar
- 6 tablespoons milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- - dash of salt
- 1 tablespoon karo syrup
- 1 tablespoon butter

Step 1Mix and boil hard for one minute. Remove from heat and let cool a while. Then beat until easy to spread. Will cover a 9 x 13 cake.
