Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter, cubed into small pieces
- 1/2 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1/4 cup light corn syrup
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- TOPPING ^^^
- CAKE
- 1 2/3 cups ap flour
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 3/4-1 cup buttermilk
- 6 tablespoons melted butter
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
How To Make pecan upside down cake

Step 1Preheat oven to 350. TOPPING: Spray 10" cast iron skillet with cooking spray. Add pecans, brown sugar, corn syrup and salt. Cook on top of stove till sugar is melted. Take off stove and make cake batter.

Step 2Cake: mix all ingredients till smooth, pour carefully onto pecan mixture and bake 20-25 minutes, till top is golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean. Let it cool for about 10 minutes then invert onto serving dish.
