I got this recipe from a friend.Its a little different but if you like pecan pie you will fall in love with this cake. Enjoy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ingredients
- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 1 large egg
- 1/3 cup oil
- FILLING
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup margarine or oleo
- 1 1/2 cups chopped pecans
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 cup white karo syrup
How To Make pecan pie cake

Step 1Mix cake mix, 1 egg and 1/3 cup of oil. When mixed press into 13x9 greased pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Save the cake for the filling which is then poured on top of the cake and then cotinue to bake until finished.

Step 2Mix eggs, sugar, margarine, pecans, vanilla, and syrup. When combined well pour in partially baked cake and bake at 325 degrees for 45 minutes or until center is set. Cool before cutting.
