These bars are so easy to bake and can be used for desserts or just a snack. My co-workers love it when I bake, because I always bring plenty to work.

Ingredients

1 box yellow cake mix
4 - eggs
1/2 cup butter, melted
1 1/2 cups white karo syrup
1/2 cup dark brown sugar, packed
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups chopped pecans

How To Make pecan pie bars

Step 1

Mix cake mix 1 egg and melted butter real well. Reserve 2/3 cup batter. Pour the rest of the batter into a 9x13 pan and press into place,this takes time so make sure your hands are dry.Bake for 10 minutes at 325 degrees.

Step 2

Mix the rest of the ingredients as well as the reserved batter,well and pour over crust. Bake for 1 hour at 325. Cool before slicing into bars.
