pear custard cake
This is one of my go to recipes when you need something QUICK and EASY! Everyone loves it. You can switch the pears for apples or rhubarb. All are good! Try serving it with vanilla ice cream.

Ingredients
- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 3 cups chopped fresh pears, apples or rhubarb
- 1/2 can sugar
- 2 cups heavy cream
How To Make pear custard cake

Step 1Preheat oven to 350. Prepare cake mix according to instructions.

Step 2Pour cake mix into prepared 9x13 inch pan. Sprinkle chopped fruit evenly over cake mix. Sprinkle sugar over fruit. Pour cream evenly over all.

Step 3Bake for 40 minutes or until puffy and lightly brown. Remove and let cool. Serve warm or refrigerate and serve cold.
