Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 sticks butter, room temperature
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 - eggs beaten
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup oil

How To Make peanut butter sheet cake

  • Step 1
    Sift dry ingredients and set aside. Mix oil, water, peanut butter and butter above stove and bring to boil. Pour over dry ingredients and mix. Add buttermilk, vanilla and eggs. Mix well. Bake in a jelly roll pan 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes
  • Step 2
    While warm, ice with 1/2 cup peanut butter, 1 stick butter and 1/3 cup milk. Boil these and add 1 teaspoon vanilla. Add enough powdered sugar to make frosting consistency.
