peanut butter layer cake...
i made this once for a family get together & my older brother asked "where's the jelly". Every one laughed & they all enjoyed it. Sorry I don't have a pic, but I'm working on getting pics for all my recipes...

Ingredients
- 2 - eggs, separated
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 1/4 cups cake flour
- 3 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/3 cup peanut butter, crunchy
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 1 1/4 cups milk
How To Make peanut butter layer cake...

Step 1Heat oven to 350F. Lightly grease & flour 2 round 8 inch pans.

Step 2beat egg whites until frothy, gradually beat in the white sugar till stiff & glossy.

Step 3In medium bowl sift together the next 4 ingredients. Add in the brown sugar, oil & 1/2 of the milk.

Step 4Beat for 1 min on medium speed & make sure to scrape the bowl constantly.

Step 5Add in the remaining milk & egg yolks to the mixture & beat for 1 more min. Again make sure to scrape the bowl.

Step 6Then mix in the peanut butter. Fold in the egg whites, pour into baking pans & bake for 35 to 40 mins. Cool well & frost as you wish...
