This recipe was created for my sister's birthday by combining some of her favorite things...vanilla cake and peanut butter cups...then topped with peanut butter frosting.

Ingredients
- CAKE BATTER
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 2 - eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1 3/4 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 cup milk
- 12 - mini peanut butter cups, chilled and unwrapped
- FROSTING
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 3 tablespoons milk
- 2 cups powdered sugar
How To Make peanut butter cup-cakes

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line cupcake tins with paper liners.

Step 2CAKE BATTER: Cream together butter and sugar. Beat in eggs; stir in vanilla. Add flour and baking powder until well mixed. Stir in milk until smooth. Fill cupcake liners 2/3 full with batter. Press one peanut butter cup into each cupcake. Bake for 20-25 minutes. Cool completely before frosting.

Step 3FROSTING: Cream butter and peanut butter. Add sugar until combined. Stir in milk as needed until smooth. Frost cooled cupcakes and decorate as desired.
