How To Make dee dee's decadent delicious delite
-
Step 1Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Prepare 9 x 13-inch pan. I used Bakers Joy.
-
Step 2In a large bowl or 2 quart batter bowl, using a spoon or hand mixer; combine cake mix, melted butter, peanut butter, eggs and vanilla. Mix well.
-
Step 3Press 1/2 of cake mixture into prepared 9 x 13-inch pan reserving 1/2 for top layer. Sprinkle nuts over batter and gently press nuts into batter.
-
Step 4In a small sauce pan combine chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk and butter; melt over a medium low heat, stirring frequently just until melted. Remove from heat once melted; add coconut and vanilla; stir until well combined.
-
Step 5Place dollops of chocolate mixture over batter.
-
Step 6Spread chocolate mixture evenly over batter.
-
Step 7Crumble remaining batter over chocolate mixture. Sprinkle with sugar if desired. Bake at 325 for 25 to 30 minutes. NOTE: I pinched small pieces of the batter and place over top of chocolate mixture.
-
Step 8Cool completely before slicing and serving. Serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, drizzled with chocolate syrup! Or eat as is!! Delicious either way!
