  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 cup jiff peanut butter
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts, optional (i like the extra crunch that nuts add, i used walnuts. i think peanuts or pecans would be great as well)

  • 1 - (14-oz) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 cup coconut (sweet flakes)
  • - vanilla ice cream
  • - chocolate syrup

How To Make dee dee's decadent delicious delite

  • Step 1
Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Prepare 9 x 13-inch pan. I used Bakers Joy.
  • Step 2
In a large bowl or 2 quart batter bowl, using a spoon or hand mixer; combine cake mix, melted butter, peanut butter, eggs and vanilla. Mix well.
  • Step 3
Press 1/2 of cake mixture into prepared 9 x 13-inch pan reserving 1/2 for top layer. Sprinkle nuts over batter and gently press nuts into batter.
  • Step 4
In a small sauce pan combine chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk and butter; melt over a medium low heat, stirring frequently just until melted. Remove from heat once melted; add coconut and vanilla; stir until well combined.
  • Step 5
Place dollops of chocolate mixture over batter.
  • Step 6
Spread chocolate mixture evenly over batter.
  • Step 7
Crumble remaining batter over chocolate mixture. Sprinkle with sugar if desired. Bake at 325 for 25 to 30 minutes. NOTE: I pinched small pieces of the batter and place over top of chocolate mixture.
  • Step 8
Cool completely before slicing and serving. Serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, drizzled with chocolate syrup! Or eat as is!! Delicious either way!
