all purpose flour
2 c
sugar
1 tsp
baking soda
1 tsp
salt
1/2 c
peanut butter
1 c
water
1/2 c
vegetable oil
3/4 c
margarine
1/2 c
buttermilk
2
eggs
1 tsp
vanilla

How to Make Peanut Butter Cake

Step-by-Step

  • 1Mix together flour, sugar, baking soda, and salt, set aside. Bring to a boil peanut butter, water, vegetable oil, and margarine. Pour this over the dry ingredients and mix. Then add buttermilk, eggs,and vanilla. Mix well. Pour into greased sheet cake pan. Bake at 350, 15 -20 minutes or until tests done.
  • 2Peanut Butter Frosting
    Bring to a boil:
    1/2 cup peanut butter
    1/3 cup milk
    1/2 cup margarine
    1 tsp. vanilla
    Add 1 box (1 pound) confectioners sugar, Beat with mixer until smooth, Frost cake while hot.
