Ingredients

  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 tsp - baking soda
  • 1 tsp - salt
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 3/4 cup margarine
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk
  • 2 - eggs
  • 1 tsp - vanilla

How To Make peanut butter cake

  • Step 1
    Mix together flour, sugar, baking soda, and salt, set aside. Bring to a boil peanut butter, water, vegetable oil, and margarine. Pour this over the dry ingredients and mix. Then add buttermilk, eggs,and vanilla. Mix well. Pour into greased sheet cake pan. Bake at 350, 15 -20 minutes or until tests done.

    Peanut Butter Frosting Bring to a boil: 1/2 cup peanut butter 1/3 cup milk 1/2 cup margarine 1 tsp. vanilla Add 1 box (1 pound) confectioners sugar, Beat with mixer until smooth, Frost cake while hot.
