- 3/4 cup peanut butter, creamy
- 1/2 cup shortening
- 1 1/2 cups brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 3 - eggs
- 2 cups sifted cake flour
- 3 teaspoons baking powder
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup milk
How To Make peanut butter cake

Step 1Cream together peanut butter,shortening and brown sugar.Add vanilla.Add eggs one at a time beating well after each addition.Sift flour with baking powder and salt.Add dry ingredients and milk,mix well.

Step 2Grease and flour a 13x9 cake pan.Pour prepared batter in pan.Bake for 35-40 minutes at 350 degrees. Cake is done when tooth pick inserted in center comes out clean.Allow to cool and then frost.
