peachy's coffee cake
A family recipe for nearly 30 years. We love this stuff! Quick and easy and the perfect pair with your morning coffee. It's the only coffee cake I've ever made that really has coffee in the cake!

Ingredients
- FOR THE CAKE:
- 1 package yellow cake mix
- - fresh strong brewed coffee, cooled
- FOR THE TOPPING:
- 2 cups flour
- 1/2 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons instant coffee crystals
- 2 sticks butter, cold cut up
How To Make peachy's coffee cake

Step 1Preheat the oven to 350.

Step 2Prepare the cake mix as directed, SUBSTITUTING the brewed coffee in place of the water the package calls for.

Step 3Prepare a 13x9x2 pan and pour prepared mix into it and bake for 20 minutes.

Step 4While the cake is baking, get the topping ready! Mix the dry ingredients together in a large bowl. Cut in the cold butter with a pastry blender or two knives until it resembles course crumbs.

Step 5Sprinkle the crumb topping over the partially baked cake. Return to oven and continue baking as directed on package or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
