Ingredients

  • CAKE

  • 1 pkg
    yellow cake mix
  • 1 can(s)
    peach pie filling
  • 3 large
    eggs
  • 1/2 tsp
    lemon extract
  • 1/2 c
    chopped nuts
  • TOPPING

  • 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 1/2 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp
    lemon extract
  • 1/4 c
    butter, softened

How to Make Peach Cake by Susan

Step-by-Step

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease and flour 13 x 9-inch cake pan.
  2. Combine all cake ingredients in a large mixing bowl. Blend with electric mixer at low speed until completely moistened, about 1 minute. Beat 2 minutes at medium speed. Spread batter in prepared pan.
  3. Make Topping: In a medium bowl combine topping ingredients with a fork or pastry blender until mixture is crumbly. Sprinkle topping over cake batter.
  4. Bake cake for 40-45 minutes or until center springs back when touched lightly. No frosting necessary. If desired, you can top slices with more peach pie filling or fresh sliced peaches.
