- 1 package spice cake mix
- 1 1/2 cups walnuts
- 2 cans apple pie filling
- 1 jar caramel ice cream topping
- 1 can vanilla frosting
- 1 can caramel frosting
- 3 large eggs
- 1/3 cup oil
- 1 1/3 cups water

Step 1prepare cake mix as directed . preheat oven at 350 degrees , and grease two 9 inch round cake pans.fill cake pans with equal parts of cake batter and bake for 29 min. remove cakes from pan and cool .

Step 2when cakes are completely cooled place one of the cakes on a plate for your base. with the caramel icing ice the first layer and then with the vanilla icing create a border around the edge of the cake. place your apple pie filling within the border, then drizzle the caramel topping and walnuts over your apples, the top layer is the same add icing apples , caramel and walnuts and your finished.

Step 3make sure your cake is cooled down before you do this or you will have a a slider on your hands....... hope you enjoy this spin on apple pie ......... enjoy
