A dear friend of mine Pat Denton who waited tables at Red Lobster in Greenville,SC from the 1st day they opened. She had us so spoiled she was always baking a cake. This is one of her recipes.

  • 3
    8 oz. softened cream cheese
  • 4 large
  • 1 tsp
  • 1/3 c
    powdered sugar
  • 1/2 stick
  • 1 1/2 c
    graham cracker cumbs
  • 1 c
    sour cream * this is optional*
  • 1 can(s)
    cherries * this is optional*

How to Make Pat Denton's Cheese Cake


  1. Melt the maragine
  2. Mix maragine with graham cracker crumbs and powdered sugar
  3. Line the bottom of a spring pan with graham cracker mixature.
  4. Mix the white sugar, cream cheese, eggs and vanilla together and pour over the top of graham crackers.
    Bake at 350* for 50 minutes
  5. You can top with 1 cup of sour cream or cheeries or just leave it plain.
