i grew up with lots of fresh frozen fruits and veggies so once i grew up i had to start findin ways to have stuff still taste good.... here is one of those kind of recipes... lol we ate it last night before i could get pic of it lol

Ingredients

  • 4-6 - leftover baked jumbo grands biscuts[i've also used pound cake,angle food cake,fudgey brownies
  • 2 pounds bag whole frozen srawberries...no sugar added
  • 2/3 cup splenda
  • 1 - cap full double strength pure vanilla
  • 1 - tub cool whip
  • 1- 1 1/2 cups warm water

How To Make out of season strawberry shortcake

  • Step 1
    remove strawberries from freezer night before.leave in fridge to defrost... in mornin slice berries into med size bowl...add splenda,warm water, an vanilla... stir well[til sugar desolves] cover put in fridge...
  • Step 2
    time to serve....... break biscut into several small pieces.... spoon berries over it,,,pouring some of the juice into bowl let sit bout 10min... then add cool whip...an top with another strawberry.. now enjoy with a tall glass of ice cold milk
  • Step 3
    the key here is to get lots of the juice on the biscuts so they drink it up yummy
