Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups cake flour
- 1 1/2 cups sugar(or trivia)
- 3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 1/4 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 cups vegetable oil
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 2 large eggs
- 1 bottle (1 oz)bottle of red food coloring
- 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon vinegar
- - cream cheese frosting as follows
- 1 cup butter, unsalted softened
- 1 ounce (8)oz package cream cheese softtened
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 7 cups confectioners' sugar
- 1 cup (garnish) chopped pecans.
How To Make our 7 layer red velvet cake

Step 1PREHEAT OVEN TO 350 * Grease and flour 2(9- inch) cake pans.

Step 2IN LARGE BOWL , sift together flour,sugar,cocoa, baking soda, and salt. BEAT in oil, buttermilk, and eggs at medium speed with electric mixer until smooth.

Step 3STIR in food coloring, vanilla, and vinegar. Pour3/4 cup of cake batter into cake pan,turning to distribute batter evenly.

Step 4BAKE 10 minutes.LET cool in pans for 5 minutes;remove from pans,and let cool completely on the wire wrack.

Step 5WASH the pans and dry pans; REPEAT PROCEDURE with the remaining batter until all the layers are baked.

Step 6SPREAD the cream cheese frosting evenly between layers and on top and sides.GARNISH the cake with chopped pecans,on the rim of the cake bottom and top.
