Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup - butter
  • 1 cup - vegitable oil
  • 2 3/4 cup - 10x-confectioners sugar
  • 5 - eggs
  • 3 cups - sifted cake flour
  • 1/2 tsp - salt
  • 1 cup - orange crush soda... no excpetions!
  • 1 TSP - vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp - orange extract

How To Make orange crush pound cake

  • Step 1
    Cream together butter,shortening and sugar. Add eggs one at a time,beating well after each egg. Beat until light and fluffy. Sift flour and salt together;alternately add ORANGE CRUSH/flour to creamed mixture. Stir in flavoring. Pour into tubed or bundt pan. Bake at 325* for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Cool cake slightly and spread frosting
  • Step 2
    FROSTING: 1/2 teaspoon orange extract and 3 oz of cream cheese,soft. Combine and cream, Spread on warm cake
