orange cream frosting
I made this frosting for an orange cake my granddaughter's 4th birthday. I think the "Parkay" is what made it so creamy. I like to use evaporated milk instead of regular. Lemon flavoring gave it a little kick because the icing tends to be sweet.

Ingredients
- 1 box powdered sugar
- 1 stick margarine (parkay)
- 2 tablespoons evaporated milk
- 2 tablespoons orange juice
- 1 teaspoon butter flavoring or vanilla extract
- 1/2-1 teaspoon lemon extract
- 1-2 - dash (es) salt
- 5 - yellow food coloring drops
- 3 - red food coloring drops
- MAY ADD MORE POWDERED SUGAR OR ORANGE JUICE OR MILK IF NEEDED. I ALSO THINK CREAM CHEESE WOULD BE A GOOD ADDITION..
How To Make orange cream frosting

Step 1Cream margarine or butter.

Step 2Gradually add powdered sugar alternately with milk and orange juice. Beating well with mixer.

Step 3Mix in yellow and red food color drops. Mix until well blended.

Step 4Add salt, and flavorings. Mixing until smooth. Spread on cake, cupcakes or cookies.
