How to Make Opal’s Cherry Surprise
- Crust:Pour in greased large pan. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes. Cool. Don't worry when the crust falls.
1/2 pint heavy whipping cream
1 (3 oz) Cream cheese softened at room temperature
1 c. sifted powdered sugar
1 t. Vanilla
- Using a mixer, whip the cream cheese. Then add the sifted powdered sugar and heavy whipping cream alternately a little at a time until thick. Before you have added all the powdered sugar to the cream sugar, add the vanilla. Do not beat the ingredients too long or you will make butter. Pour the filling on top of the cracker crust.
- Then top with Cherry Pie Filling..
