Ingredients

  • 2 pounds pound cake
  • 2 cans cherry pie filling
  • 2 - 12 oz thawed cool whip/divided

How To Make oops forgot dessert

  • Step 1
    Slice pound cake into 1/4 inch slices and layer the bottom of a 11 x 15 inch pan with some of the slices
  • Step 2
    Spread pie filling over cake and then spread cool whip over pie filling...layer remaining slices of pound cake and another layer of cool whip
  • Step 3
    Decorate top of cake with sliced fresh fruit (optional)...but really makes the cake taste awesome
