These are so good, they last all of 5 minutes at my house. This will surely become a family favorite. These are great comfort food, my daughter calls them her hormone busters lol.

Ingredients

  • 1 3/4 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 1 Tbsp
    baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 3/4 c
    milk
  • 1/3 c
    sour cream
  • 1
    egg
  • 1/4 c
    butter (melted)
  • 25
    chopped oreos (reserve 5 cookies for garnish)

How to Make Omgolly Oreo Muffins.

Step-by-Step

  1. In medium bowl combine flour, sugar, baking powder and salt set aside.

    In small bowl, combine milk, sour cream, and egg; stir into flour mixture with butter until blended.

    Gently fold in chopped cookies. Spoon batter into 12 greased muffin tins.

    I take my remaining crushed cookies and sprinkle them on top.

    Bake at 375F for 20 minutes. I use a toothpick to insert into center to check for doneness. Tooth pick should come out clean.
  2. You may even try frosting these with a vanilla cream frosting, or even a cream cheese frosting and then sprinkle crushed cookie crumbs on top. Both ways are so yummy!
