1Melt together over hot water the chocolate and butter.
Beat together with rotary beater the eggs,sugar, the chocolate mixture and corn syrup.
Mix in the pecans.
Pour into pastry lined pie pan. Bake just until set about 25-30 minutes.
Serve slightly warm or cold with ice cream , whipped cream or softened ice cream.
Softened ice cream
Whip ice cream with a wooden spoon until softened and smooth. Do not melt. Tastes like "homemade" ice cream.
